Overview

Following the announcement of 1SHOT, questions arose about how its innovative features would reshape online learning—whether they would continue to empower teachers and students effectively or redefine the standards of modern LMS platforms.

I led the end-to-end development and design direction of the web experience for implementing 1SHOT and played a pivotal role in defining the integration process.

The launch of 1SHOT's modern LMS was met with exceptional enthusiasm from educators, students, and industry experts, achieving over 1 million successful user integrations and widespread acclaim..

THE CHALLENGES

By understanding these pain points through direct feedback from educators and students, 1SHOT offers a flexible, scalable LMS platform that integrates smoothly, adapts to diverse teaching needs, and streamlines administrative tasks, ultimately enhancing the overall learning experience.

A pile-up of constraints.

!

Fragmented Learning Tools

Educators and students often use disjointed platforms, leading to a fragmented learning experience and reduced efficiency.

!

Diverse Learning Needs

Generic learning management systems fail to meet the specific needs of different subjects, courses, and teaching methods.

!

Overwhelming Administration

Complex grading systems, student management, and compliance requirements can burden educators, impacting their ability to focus on teaching.

!

Scalability and Flexibility

As educational institutions or individual educators grow, they need solutions that scale with them without overhauling existing tools and workflows.

Update Flow

The backbone of the project.

You gotta start somewhere.

The software team provided me with a list of mandatory instructions on a website. My strategic plan emphasized model selection and technical implementation to create an intuitive user experience.

LAYOUT PATTERNS

No fluff, consistent, and scannable.

Keepin' it — responsive layout grids.

A standard set of layout grids and breakpoints was critical in ensuring we could design and build quickly and consistently.
